WHO WE ARE

Our Story

Founded by Carol and Ross Turner, C & R Engineering began as a family business in 1989, building gates and pool fencing for the local community. We’ve adapted to the changing demands of the market, moving into structural steel and large-scale commercial projects. That adaptability and willingness to solve tough problems has shaped who we are today.

Today, we’re still family-owned, but we’ve grown into one of the Manawatū region’s most trusted and capable structural steel providers. That balance of professional capability and family values is what makes us different: we deliver large, complex projects with the care and accountability of a business that takes pride in its name.
